The Independent Police Conduct Authority released a report today finding that two Police officers who shot Shane Shortcliffe on 28 April 2015, while was he was under a house in Manurewa, Auckland, were justified in doing so.

The Independent Police Conduct Authority released a report today finding that members of the Waikato Armed Offenders Squad (AOS) were justified in shooting Nicholas Marshall in Hamilton on 12 July 2016.

The Independent Police Conduct Authority released a report today finding that members of the Hawkes Bay Armed Offenders Squad (AOS) were justified in shooting Chazz Hall in Clive, Hawkes Bay, on 26 October 2015. Earlier in the evening Mr Hall had shot and killed his former partner, Victoria Foster, at a Napier address.

The Independent Police Conduct Authority released a report today finding that two Police officers were justified in shooting a man following a domestic incident in Kerepehi, Waikato, on 21 October 2014. The man survived the shooting but suffered several serious injuries as a result.

The Independent Police Conduct Authority has found that a sergeant’s use of a Taser on a mentally unwell Auckland man, while he was in a small cubicle at Counties Manukau Police station, was contrary to policy, excessive and unjustified.
