IPCA and Office of the Privacy Commissioner to jointly investigate reports of Police photographing youth.

The Independent Police Conduct Authority has been notified by Police under the Memorandum of Understanding between the agencies of the incidents of Police photographing youth in Wairarapa.

The Authority and the Privacy Commissioner have agreed that the two organisations will jointly conduct an independent investigation and report publicly. The investigation will commence in the New Year and be completed as soon as is possible.
