10 October 2013 - The Independent Police Conduct Authority today released its summary report on the non-fatal shooting of Ruka Hemopo at a Waitangirua address in Wellington on 2 May 2013. 29 August 2013 - The Independent Police Conduct Authority today released two separate reports relating to incidents involving Police driving in Auckland in 2012. One resulted in the serious injury of two young men during a Police pursuit in Mt Eden, and the other involved the death of a woman in Flatbush following a collision with a Police car engaged in urgent duty driving at the time. Death of Georgina Cherish Stone – Te Haara following Police Pursuit

9 July 2013 - The Authority found that the actions of the fleeing driver, Mr Tonga, ultimately led to the death of Ms Stone-Te Haara. While officers failed to comply with Police policy in some areas, the Authority could not conclude that these failures and other actions contributed to Ms Stone-Te Haara’s death. More>>
