The Authority oversaw a Police investigation into several allegations a Police employee stole exhibits that were marked for disposal from a Police station.
The Police investigation found that there was insufficient evidence to charge the employee with theft. Police then progressed an employment process for the employee, who resigned during the course of this process. Police found that some of the allegations of theft were upheld, and that the employee had engaged in serious misconduct. Police concluded the employment process for the employee in accordance with Public Service Commission’s guidelines.
The Authority is satisfied with the investigation Police undertook and the outcome reached.
