Police investigate officer after complaints from neighbours

29 July 2025

The Authority oversaw a Police investigation after an officer’s neighbours complained of ongoing harassment and minor criminal offending.

The Police investigation found that there was insufficient evidence to conclude that the officer had committed any criminal offences or harassed their neighbours.

Police then carried out a confidential employment process for the officer.

The Authority is satisfied with investigation undertaken by Police and agrees with the outcome reached.
