The Authority oversaw a Police investigation into an officer’s searches of the Police national database.
Police completed an audit of the officer’s use of the database and determined the officer accessed records which were not for legitimate work purposes. Police found this was in breach of the Police Code of Conduct and took appropriate employment action.
The Authority agrees with the outcome of their investigation.
