The Authority oversaw a Police investigation into allegations that an off-duty officer was driving dangerously and while under the influence of alcohol. Before Police stopped the officer, his manner of driving had been reported by numerous members of the public.
The officer pleaded guilty to driving dangerous driving and driving with excess alcohol in his blood and resigned from Police.
The Authority is satisfied with Police’s response to this matter.
