The Authority oversaw a Police investigation into allegations that an off-duty officer made unwanted advances towards female recruits and acted aggressively towards another recruit.
A criminal investigation determined there was insufficient evidence to charge the officer. However, Police found the officer’s conduct breached the Police Code of Conduct and sanctioned the officer for their actions.
The Authority is satisfied with how the Police investigations were conducted and the outcomes reached.
