The Authority oversaw a Police investigation into a Police officer who crashed into a youth who was crossing a road on his push scooter.
The officer was responding to an emergency call, and drove through a red traffic light with lights and sirens activated. The Police car hit the youth, who suffered a broken elbow.
The officer subsequently pleaded guilty to a traffic offence.
The Authority agrees with the findings of the Police investigation, and the outcome of the subsequent employment process.
