The Authority oversaw a Police investigation into allegations an off-duty officer assaulted his partner.
Following a criminal investigation, the officer was charged with assault with intent to injure and impedes breathing. The matter is now before the Courts.
The officer has since resigned from Police.
The Authority is satisfied that the Police investigation was thorough and reached appropriate conclusions.
