The Authority oversaw a Police investigation into an allegation that a staff member drove carelessly and whilst disqualified, and was dishonest with his supervisor during discussions about the incident.
Following a criminal investigation, the staff member was charged and convicted of driving offences.
An employment process found the officer’s behaviour breached the Police Code of Conduct. The staff member resigned from Police during this process.
The Authority is satisfied with the Police investigation and agrees with its findings.
