The Authority oversaw an employment process in respect of a recruit alleged to have been drinking and driving contrary to the zero-alcohol requirements of their licence.
The recruit was challenged on this behaviour by their fellow recruits, but allegedly dismissed those concerns. No criminal investigation was undertaken due to evidential constraints.
The recruit resigned for personal reasons before an employment process was completed. The Authority is satisfied with how Police responded to this matter.
