The Authority oversaw a Police investigation into an allegation an officer misused Police records to find a civilian’s contact details which he then gave to a friend.
Police conducted an audit and determined an officer had looked at the civilian’s profile for non-work related purposes and had a connection to the person who received the civilian’s details.
Police took appropriate employment actions against the officer and the Authority agrees with the outcome of the Police investigation.
