The Authority oversaw police investigations into allegations that an officer from Waikato was using police database information and vehicles for his personal use.
There was no evidence of a criminal offence being committed. An employment investigation found the officer had accessed the database without suitable reason and had used vehicles without proper authority. An outcome was reached which the Authority agrees with.
