The Authority oversaw a Police investigation into an allegation that a Police officer in the Bay of Plenty inappropriately contacted a woman on social media after obtaining her details during a traffic stop.
The officer admitted his actions and apologised for them. He was appropriately dealt with through an employment process.
The Authority agrees with the findings of the investigation and the employment outcome.
