The Authority oversaw a Police investigation into a notification an officer deposited Police’s reparation money into his personal bank account. Police concluded the officer made poor decisions in processing the money, but there was no evidence of theft. The officer repaid the money immediately once he was reminded.
The Authority agreed the officer could have handled the situation better and were satisfied Police addressed the matter appropriately with the officer.
