5 December 2022

The Authority oversaw a Police investigation into a complaint from a member of the public who alleged an officer entered their home without their consent or a warrant. A criminal investigation found the officer had lawful justification to enter the house as they were responding to concerns about the occupant’s mental and physical wellbeing.

The Authority agreed with the findings and outcome of the investigation.
