Police notified the Authority of an incident where an officer allegedly misused the Police database to obtain information to assist an associate.
The Police investigation found that the officer was not an associate of the subject and did not misuse the database. On conclusion of the investigation, it was found that the officer was acting within his duties to assist a member of the public.
The Authority agrees with the findings reached by Police.
