(Former) Police Officer in Counties/Manukau found to have breached policy by inappropriately accessing the Police national database

The Authority oversaw a Police investigation into an allegation an officer inappropriately accessed the Police national database 75 times to check information about several high-profile people and others known to him. The Authority agrees with the findings of the investigation that the officer's conduct was a serious breach of Police policy which resulted in the officer's resignation from Police.
