The Authority oversaw a Police investigation into an allegation that two Police officers had consumed cannabis while on duty after seizing it from a member of the public. The officers had exchanged text messages about smoking the cannabis which had been discovered as part of an unrelated investigation. A criminal investigation was undertaken which found no evidence of criminal offending. An employment investigation was also undertaken which resulted in an appropriate outcome.
