The Authority oversaw the review of a Police pursuit in the Eastern District which occurred on 31 January 2019. The fleeing driver and two passengers were young people who fled after a burglary and theft of the owner's car. At the time of the pursuit, Police did not know the people in the car were youths. The Authority is satisfied that Police policy was not breached during the pursuit.
