The Authority oversaw a Police investigation after an officer was charged with careless driving after losing control of a patrol vehicle while attempting to stop a vehicle that had sped through road works in Tasman District.
The charge was dismissed by the District Court following the completion of diversion. An employment investigation was commenced but not completed as the officer resigned during the investigation.
