The Authority oversaw an investigation of an off-duty Police Officer who drove while under the influence of alcohol. The officer was prosecuted for driving with excess alcohol in his blood but was ultimately discharged without conviction by the Court. The Police commenced with an employment process but the officer resigned before conclusion of that process.
