The Authority oversaw a Police investigation into a complaint alleging that a Police officer in Counties Manukau had assaulted his young daughters in the course of disciplining them while they were in his care.
Police conducted a criminal investigation that established an assault had occurred on one of his daughters, but it was at a low level.
The officer was formally warned for his actions and an employment outcome was reached which the Authority agrees with.
