A woman complained that her house was burgled and although the alleged perpetrators' car was stopped a short time later, Police let them go. Police explained that at the time the car was stopped, the officer did not have enough evidence to arrest the occupants.

Police are actively investigating the burglary, have discussed the matter with the complainant and apologised.
