After two women were assaulted by the ex-partner of one of them, they reported the incident to Police. One of the women complained about the way they were treated when making the report and about the outcome of their report.
As a result of the Authority's intervention, Police reviewed their file and contacted both women to discuss the incident further and decide if anything else needs to be done. Police have also identified some learning opportunities from this incident and will be addressing these with the officer.
